After another blown lead, this time against the Chicago Bears, the New York Giants have made the decision to fire head coach Brian Daboll , according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. For the third straight year, Daboll has led the Giants to a 2-8 start and has gotten rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart in some tough situations , with him being evaluated for four concussions this season.

Offensive coordinator Mike Kafka will be the interim coach for the rest of the season, and the hope is that he can get the most out of the players as the year continues.

The Giants will now have a vacant head coaching position after the season.
