FARGO — Charges were filed Monday afternoon against the Horace man who was arrested last week after his girlfriend was shot and killed in their apartment.

Derrick Lobbo, 21, is facing manslaughter, aggravated assault and reckless endangerment charges related to the shooting death of 23-year-old Sakeena Khaadi on the morning of Wednesday, Nov. 5, in the couple's apartment at 7994 Jacks Way in Horace.

Lobbo was also charged with child neglect in the case, because he left his 2-year-old daughter in the apartment unit alone with access to a handgun, drugs and alcohol after leaving to try to get help for Khaadi following the shooting, according to court documents.
