Four weeks into the 2025 NFL season, with the Buffalo Bills having won all of their games and scoring at least 30 points in each, there’s no way that anyone would have seen what was coming.

They closed September with a somewhat ugly 31-19 victory over the hapless New Orleans Saints , but everyone just chalked it up to one of those days, a bump in the road where the team that was, at the time, the betting favorite to win the Super Bowl doing what it needed to take care of business. Survive and advance, as they say.

Buffalo was the only unbeaten team in the AFC and fans began dreaming of the Bills earning homefield advantage throughout the playoffs and closing Highmark Stadium in glory with an AFC Championship Game victory - preferably over the Chiefs - and a return to the Super Bowl
