This season hasn’t been easy for the Boston Celtics. Not only did they lose a bunch of talent over the summer, but they’ve also faced a grueling schedule to begin the year with 11 games in 19 days — most in the Eastern Conference.

Despite the adversity, the Celtics have continued to battle, grinding out a 5-6. They showed plenty of tenacity and resilience on Sunday, bouncing back from a tough road loss against the Orlando Magic on Friday to win Sunday’s rematch against the Magic 111-107.

Boston seemed headed for another loss after falling behind 21-9 in the first quarter. However, the Celtics rallied thanks to a historic scoring binge by Anfernee Simons, who poured in 23 points during an eight-minute stretch, including 17 straight for Boston at one point.
