PARSONS, W.Va. (WBOY) — Snow has hit the highlands of West Virginia, including in Tucker County, where snow has covered the roads, causing a delay in dismissal at Tucker County High School and an accident on Highway 48.
According to a post from Tucker County Schools on Facebook, students at Tucker County High School are being held at the school due to "roads being blocked above and below the high school."
The Facebook post stated that students were originally going to be released at 3:45 p.m. However, a school official confirmed that the students will now be held until it is safe for them to go home.
