As the fall sports seasons wind down and the postseasons are all that's left, you got back to voting on the Rockford Register Star high school Athlete of the Week poll, sponsored by Gustafson's Furniture & Mattress.

You voted a lot on the top athlete from Nov. 3-8, and the winner is: Stockton star football player Jack Mensendike. Mensendike rushed for 139 yards and scored a touchdown to help Stockton to a 26-3 Round 2 win last Saturday. He'll look to do the same in the quarterfinals this Saturday.
