NEW YORK (KMOT) – A decorated veteran from Minot will play a big role in the largest Veterans Day parade in the country.
Clint Romesha served in the Army for 12 years and received the Medal of Honor for actions in battle.
He was selected as one of the three grand marshals for the New York City Veterans Day Parade.
Fellow grand marshals Stephen Peck and Sunita L. Williams represent the Marines and Navy.
The veteran says he found out about the honor last year, and it came from a relationship he had with American Warrior Partnership.
Romesha shared that the opportunity provides a larger platform, allowing him to highlight other veterans.
“It’s a moment of the spotlight coming to me, and I can redirect it to other places, and that’s truly what I am looking forward to being in the parade,
