DENVER (KKTV) - Denver Nuggets Center Nikola Jokić has been named Western Conference Player of the Week for the first time this season, according to the Denver Nuggets.

The team said Jokić was named Player of the Week for games played from November 3 to November 9.

This is the first time Jokić has won the award this season and the 18th time he has won Western Conference Player of the Week in his career. The team said this is the most Western Conference Player of the Week wins by a single player in franchise history.

During the week, the team said Jokić averaged 31.3 points, 11.3 rebounds, 13.3 assists and 2 steals while shooting 69.6% from the field and 47.45% from three.

The team says Jokić is 11 triple-doubles away from surpassing Oscar Robinson for second-most (181).
