COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - The Colorado Springs Fire Department said firefighters were responding to a grass fire on Monday afternoon.
Firefighters said the fire was located near East Pikes Peak Avenue and South Academy Boulevard. As of 4:06 p.m., they said the fire was 15 feet by 15 feet.
By 4:20 p.m., firefighters said the fire had been extinguished and did not grow any larger.
At this time, it is unknown what caused the fire or if there were any injuries.
Smoke could be visible in the area.
