CANON CITY, Colo. (KKTV) - For the past 11 months, the Cañon City Police Department (CCPD) said officers have been conducting an extensive investigation into the allegations of illegal gambling at a local business.

CCPD said investigators executed a search warrant at Mad Skillz Gaming at 609 Royal Gorge Boulevard, where gambling devices and related evidence were seized.

According to police, Mad Skillz Gaming was temporarily closed during the search and turned back over to the owner on November 6, around 10 p.m.

CCPD said they are not planning to pursue charges for patrons of Mad Skillz Gaming, but are asking anyone with information about the business to contact Detective Morgan Roquemore.
