ANN ARBOR – Michigan’s football team didn’t have a game last weekend, but the Ann Arbor area had its first snowfall of the year.
The weather is getting colder in Big Ten country (excluding the California teams) – optimal conditions for the Wolverines’ run-first offense. With the team missing leading rusher Justice Haynes for two of the past three games, sophomore Jordan Marshall has emerged as the featured back.
The former top-100 recruit has eclipsed the 100-yard mark in all three games, including rushing for a career-high 185 and three touchdowns on 25 attempts in the 21-16 win over Purdue on Nov. 1.
