CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - A large pothole that created hazardous driving conditions on Lansing Avenue for two months has been repaired following a 19 News investigation .
The crater-sized hole had been surrounded by traffic cones, creating an obstacle course in a school zone. The repair was completed within days of the original news report last month.
Residents report improved safety
“Back to normal, everything is fine,” one resident said.
For most of the fall, people living on Lansing Avenue said the unfinished roadwork made an already busy school zone even more chaotic.
The street sees heavy traffic at the start and end of each school day.
“Things get pretty hectic over here; there’s a lot of backup traffic due to the cones being in the way,” said Tyler Dyous back in October. “It
