AKRON, Ohio (WOIO) - You can adopt your new four-legged best friend for free this weekend at the Humane Society of Summit County!

HSSC is waiving the adoption fee on all animals aged six months and older at the shelter from Nov. 14-16.

ADOPT

The waived HSSC adoption fee includes:

up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and preventative treatments

spay/neuter surgery

microchip

and of course, a lifetime of love!

All adopters must complete an adoption approval form before bringing a pet home.

All cats must be brought home in a pet carrier, which can be purchased for $5 if you do not already have one.
