More information is coming out following the death of Ace Frehley .

The KISS guitarist and co-founder sadly passed away on October 16 . He was 74-years-old.

Nearly a month after his passing, Ace ‘s autopsy report was released and his case of death was revealed.

Ace suffered a stroke and subdural hematoma caused by a fracture to the back of his skull, according to TMZ . His death was ruled an accident.

Shortly before his death, it was revealed that Ace was hospitalized and on life support after a fall in his studio caused a brain bleed.

Ace founded KISS alongside Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons in 1972, and they were synonymous for their black and white makeup looks.

The musician left the band in 1982 for a solo career, and returned in 1996 through 2002.
