DENVER (KKTV) - The Denver Police Department (DPD) said it is asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect in a hit-and-run involving a pedestrian on Saturday.

DPD said the crash happened around 5:40 a.m. on the southbound I-25 exit ramp to East Hampden Avenue.

According to police, the vehicle continued driving west without helping the pedestrian or calling the police. The victim reportedly suffered serious injuries.

Anyone with information regarding the suspect or this case is asked to contact Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-STOP. Tipsters can remain anonymous and could be eligible for a cash reward.
