PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- I featured Derek and his older brother Daniel -- who now goes by Max -- on Wednesday's Child in March 2020. They were riding bikes at an indoor track and it was the spot where Derek learned to ride a bike.

Andrew and Dan were a married couple looking to adopt. They had gone through all the home studies and checks -- and they knew these brothers needed to be part of their family. They all remember the first time they met in person.
