EAST LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - Obn this day in 2021, Michigan State University opened the Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum.

The building was designed by Zaha Hadid and named after Spartan alumnus and businessman Eli Broad, whose $28 million donation helped fund it.

The museum explores contemporary culture and served as a backdrop for the 2014 blockbuster Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice.
