In Long Beach, New York, a two-year-old mini Goldendoodle named Chase has been hailed a hero after saving his family from a fire that broke out in their home while they slept. The blaze started early Sunday morning and spread quickly through the two-story house, leaving three people inside unaware of the growing danger.

Chase may weigh only twelve pounds, but his bravery and instincts were enormous.
