ASHEVILLE, N.C. (FOX Carolina) - City of Asheville officials report that public works crews and emergency responders are working to treat roads that remain slick Monday night.
Tuesday has been declared a First Alert Weather Day due to the brutal cold and the first freeze of the season.
Officials in Asheville are asking drivers to avoid driving if possible and to give themselves extra time and distance if they have to be out.
