“I can still see her standing behind the glass,” the emotional three-time Stanley Cup winner said Monday night when he joined eight new Hall inductees. “She’d stay five or 10 minutes then leave for her 12-hour shift working at a nursing home. Or I’d get woken up by my dad who’d say: ‘It’s a working day’. Dad always said: ‘Play with fire,’ Mom said ‘eyes in the back of your head.’ ”
But Keith saved a heartfelt part of his speech to salute his Chicago Blackhawks defence partner Brent Seabrook. They each played 1,000 games,
