MANY, La. (KALB) - One season after going 0-10, Many Football is back in the State Playoffs.
“Hosting a playoff game, it kind of feels unreal from coming from 0-10 last year,” Many junior quarterback Kellen Cox said. “Last year by now, I was already getting into basketball form.”
The Tigers’ turnaround came quickly with wins over Logansport and DeRidder, and even after a loss to Mansfield for the District Championship, the Tigers earned a home playoff game.
“Just so proud of these guys, the hard work they’ve done over these past few months, and it’s paid off,” Many Football head coach Tyler Hassell said. “It’s paid off for a home game here at our place.”
The Tigers are welcoming 19th-seed Red River. These two teams met in Week 8, when the Bulldogs won, 34-6.
