The Phoenix Suns are thriving even after the departures of Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal, who both left the team this offseason. On Monday night at PHX Arena, the Suns cruised past the New Orleans Pelicans with a 121-98 victory, led by a spectacular performance from Grayson Allen. The win lifted Phoenix to a 6-5 record on the season.
Allen delivered a career-best showing, scoring 42 points, along with four assists, three steals, and two rebounds in just 28 minutes of play. He shot 12-of-17 from the field and 10-of-15 from beyond the arc against Zion Williamson’s team.
Allen, who previously held the Suns’ record for most three-pointers in a game, made franchise history once again. His 10th three-pointer of the night set a new Suns record and also tied the mark for the most three-pointers
