The Dallas Cowboys have made some head-scratching moves in 2025 dating back to the preseason, which have both strengthened the interior of the defensive line but also added confusion about the future of the unit.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones started the string of blockbuster trades by dealing superstar pass-rusher Micah Parsons to the Green Bay Packers in return for two first-round draft picks and defensive tackle Kenny Clark. But after flipping a first-round pick in 2027, a second-round pick in 2026 and defensive tackle Mazi Smith to the New York Jets for defensive tackle Quinnen Williams, Clark's future in Dallas faces legitimate questions.
