The Thunder Basin volleyball team went into the 2025 season with hopes of continuing their winning ways while finding out who would replace four seniors.

They finished the regular season 20-5 and earned the No. 2 seed out of the 4A East. Led by second-year head coach John Bayles and a core group of seniors, they looked to give it one last shot at a run at the state championship.

Bolts sweep Star Valley in opening round

Down in Casper at the Ford Wyoming Center, TBHS opened up their state tournament on Thursday, Nov. 6, with a win over Star Valley, 25-19, 25-20, and 26-24. Just like the two previous years, the Bolts were on their way to their third straight 4A semifinals.
