New Delhi, Nov 11: Union Home Minister Amit Shah will chair a high-level security meeting on Tuesday, a day after a powerful blast near Gate 1 of the Red Fort Metro Station killed nine people and left several others injured.
The review meeting, to be held at Kartavya Bhawan, will be attended by Home Secretary Govind Mohan, the Director of the Intelligence Bureau, Director General of the National Investigation Agency (NIA), the Delhi Police Commissioner, and other senior officials.
The blast, which occurred around 7 pm on Monday near the Subhash Marg traffic signal, led to a massive security alert in the national capital. Red alerts were issued across Delhi, while neighbouring states including Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra were also put on high alert
