A West Australian man is standing trial in Broome over allegations of raping a girl under the age of 10 and indecently dealing with another.
Patrick Joseph Hunter, 46, appeared in the District Court in Broome on Tuesday on four charges of indecent dealing with a child under 13 and one charge of sexual penetration of a child under 13.
The offences are alleged to have taken place in an Indigenous community north of Broome, between April 2019 and October 2020.
Mr Hunter has pleaded not guilty to the charges, and the trial is set down for three days.
