Many 24-ounce containers of “Certain ByHeart Whole Nutrition Infant Formula” have been recalled over concerns of potential botulism contamination.

As of publication, 13 illnesses have been reported in connection to the products.

According to Mesa County Public Health, the products may have been sold by local retailers, but no cases have been reported in the county to date.

Parents and caregivers are advised to check their pantries for the recalled items and dispose of them immediately.

Products under the recall have a use-by date of Dec. 1, 2026 and one of two lot codes: 206VABP/251261P2 and 206VABP/251131P2.
