New Delhi : In a major step toward building cleaner and greener roads, the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) and the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to install solar power plants along the Delhi-Saharanpur-Dehradun highway (NH-709B).
The MoU was signed in the presence of Mr Harsh Malhotra, Minister of State for Corporate Affairs and Road Transport and Highways. Also present were Mr V. Umashankar, Secretary, Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH), and Shri Sanjay Sharma, Director of SECI Ltd.
