Mid-South church warns of scammers impersonating staff members

BARTLETT, Tenn. - A Mid-South church is sounding the alarm on a group of emails impersonating their staff members.

"We have been made aware of emails that appear to be coming from Faith staff or church members asking for gift cards. This is a scam," the church said in a post to their Facebook page Monday.

"Do not send gift card information to these emails," the church said.

They encouraged people not to respond and report the emails instead.
