The UK government has issued a travel advisory after an explosion near the Red Fort metro station killed 13 and injured 21.
The United Kingdom government issued a travel advisory for its citizen against all travel to parts of India in view of the explosion in a deadly car near Delhi's Red Fort on Monday evening.
The explosion that killed 13 occurred near one of the gates of the Lal Qila Metro Station, in a Hyundai i20 car at the Subhash Marg traffic signal in the Red Fort area, at around 7 pm on Monday. here
“There has been an explosion at the Red Fort (Lal Qila) Metro Station, New Delhi. If you’re in the immediate area follow the advice of the local authorities and monitor local media,” read an official statement that was issued shortly after the blast.
