Dr Shaheen Shaheed, arrested in connection with the terror module case in Faridabad, was allegedly assigned to establish and lead the women's wing of Masood Azhar-led Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) in India, sources told India Today TV.

Initial investigation suggests that Shaheen, a doctor from Lucknow, was tasked with forming a female recruitment and operations network under the banner of 'Jamaat-ul-Momineen', the women's brigade of the Pakistan-based terror outfit.

According to sources, the chief of the women's wing in Pakistan, Sadia Azhar, the sister of JeM founder Masood Azhar, could have assigned the task to her.
