A cold wave has tightened its grip across several parts of central and northern India, with the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasting a further dip in temperatures across Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and adjoining states over the next few days.
According to the IMD, cold wave to severe cold wave conditions are very likely over west Madhya Pradesh between November 10 and 12, while isolated pockets of Haryana, Chandigarh, and Delhi may experience cold wave conditions on November 11 and 12. Similar conditions are expected over east Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh from November 10 to 14, and in Vidarbha, Jharkhand, and Odisha during November 11-13.
