Veterans Day events will be taking place across many jurisdictions in Maryland on Tuesday.

In Annapolis, a ceremony presented by the Fleet Reserve Association will be held at Memorial Circle beginning at 11 a.m. In Baltimore County, ceremonies will be held today at the Dundalk American Legion Post 38 and at the Essex American Legion Post 148 beginning at 11 a.m.

The Maryland Transit Administration will provide free bus, light rail, metro subway, MARC train, and mobility service rides for veterans and active-duty service members. Service members will need to present a Department of Defense ID, a Department of Veterans Affairs ID or a Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration veteran designation on a driver’s license or state ID.
