C entral Delhi came to a near-standstill Monday evening after an explosion in a moving car ripped through the area. At least 12 people have died and several others are under treatment for severe injuries. A case has been registered under sections 16 and 18 of UAPA, besides relevant sections of Explosives Act and BNS.

Witnesses described scenes of chaos and panic after the explosion, with body parts strewn across the road and multiple vehicles consumed by flames in quick succession.
