In North Carolina, one Great Dane named Meadow captured attention far beyond her local community when she gave birth to a remarkable litter of 15 puppies.

The devoted mother amazed everyone at Perfectly Imperfect Pups, a foster-based rescue in Raleigh, North Carolina, by not only delivering an unusually large litter but also caring for each newborn with gentle attention.

Staff noted this was the largest litter in the rescue’s three-year history, and Meadow proved to be an exceptional mother from the very start.

A Startling Arrival Of Joy

Nicole Kincaid, the director of Perfectly Imperfect Pups , explained that Meadow had endured a difficult beginning. At only two and a half years old, she arrived at the rescue with “an unsteady past.”
