In a major success against the drug menace, the Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) Jammu on Tuesday recovered around 500 grams of high-grade heroin and arrested an interstate smuggler involved in the illicit narcotics trade.

According to a statement issued here, “Acting swiftly on a specific and reliable input, the Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) Jammu achieved a major success by recovering approximately 500 grams of Heroin and arresting one interstate drug smuggler involved in the illicit narcotics trade”

During the operation, a team of ANTF Jammu intercepted the suspect following sustained surveillance and credible intelligence regarding drug trafficking activity. The accused has been identified as Mohd. Parvez S/o Mohd. Shaheed, resident of Jaffarabad, North-East Delhi.
