The Bills brought in a former Chiefs Super Bowl hero.

Buffalo, which has needed help at receiver for most of the season, signed Mecole Hardman on Monday after striking out at the trade deadline in the quest for help at the position.

The Bills followed that up with their most dismal offensive performance of the season, getting pummeled 30-13 by the 3-7 Dolphins. Buffalo did not score until the fourth quarter.

Hardman will begin with the Bills’ practice squad, according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler , who adds that Hardman will then have a chance to make the active 53-man roster.

He had been on the Packers’ practice squad earlier this year and was looking for a new job after being cut in September.
