Karnataka Minister Priyank Kharge on Tuesday slammed Union Home Minister Amit Shah over the blast near Delhi’s Red Fort which claimed 10 lives , calling him “the most incompetent Home Minister in independent India” and demanding his resignation.

He said that the incident raised serious concerns about national security and accountability.

Kharge questioned why Shah was not being held accountable for repeated security failures. “In any other state or country, he would have been thrown out of the Cabinet. But he is indispensable because he shares all the secrets of Mr Modi,” he said.
