MEMPHIS, Tenn. - It's Veterans Day, and folks will be honoring veterans Tuesday morning with a parade through Downtown Memphis.
The parade this year will also honor a 100-year-old veteran who fought in three wars.
Mr. Early Taylor celebrated his 100th birthday in September. He served in World War II, the Vietnam War and the Korean War.
And on Tuesday, he'll be honored during a Veterans Day parade that starts at 9 a.m. at Second Street and Exchange Avenue. It ends at noon at Second Street and Monroe.
Other Veterans Day events include the following:
In Bartlett, there will be a ceremony at Veterans Park that starts at 11 a.m.
In Covington, leaders will honor veterans with a parade. It starts at 10 a.m. at College and Main Street and will go around the Covington Square.
