The Lethbridge Police Service says it will resume mailing automated traffic enforcement (photo radar) violation tickets this week.
Over the past month, due to the recent postal strike, LPS says contracted members of the Corps of Commissionaires have been hand-delivering tickets to the homes of registered owners. With the strike moving to a rotating status, Lethbridge Police say they will begin mailing automated traffic enforcement tickets on Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2025.
Police would also like to remind the public that automated traffic enforcement tickets are always mailed/delivered to the address of the vehicle’s registered owner – never texted.
Payments/non-payments are dealt with by Alberta Courts and Alberta Registries.
