A Chinese company has issued a second recall of fabric dressers sold on Amazon because they can tip over and injure or kill children.
WLIVE has recalled 34,730 fabric, 16-drawer dressers in addition to 76,500 12-drawer dressers recalled in October, according to an announcement with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.
“The recalled dressers are unstable if they are not anchored to the wall, posing serious tip-over and entrapment hazards that can result in injuries or death to children. The dressers violate the mandatory standard as required by the STURDY Act ,” the commission said.
