TUSCALOOSA, Ala. ( WBRC ) - Investigators have confirmed that a 20-year-old woman and her younger sister, 16, were killed in a shooting late Monday night in Tuscaloosa.
Tuscaloosa Police were called to Woodlawn Manor at 3820 1st Avenue at around 11:30 p.m. where they found 20-year-old Kaliyah Houston and her 16-year-old sister shot.
Houston and her sister died.
A third victim, a 17-year-old boy, was also shot but is expected to survive.
The suspect, 19-year-old Keshawn Jermichael Woods, has reportedly been allowed to live in Houston’s apartment for the last few months. After an argument escalated Monday night, Woods pulled out a gun and began firing, striking the three victims before running on foot.
