A motorcyclist died in a crash on Monday night in Dartmouth, according to a statement from the Massachusetts State Police.

Massachusetts State Police from the Dartmouth barracks responded to a report of a motorcycle crash on Interstate 195 around 11:30 p.m, according to state police.

Dartmouth EMS were called to the scene of the crash. MassDOT also responded to help with road closures of the left and middle lanes of the highway.

Pierre Hriz, 20, of Taunton, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to state police.

The crash is still under investigation.
