PAINESVILLE, Ohio -- Many Americans are finding it harder than ever to put food on the table. It’s not just the shutdown of SNAP benefits affecting them. A mix of rising costs and stagnant wages are also contributing to rising food insecurity.

Hearing that news day after day has bothered mixologist and hospitality worker Katie Sahadi. The Painesville resident wanted to do something to help others.

She and her husband, Chef Daniel Bolaños, are co-owners of Saed Restaurant , a virtual restaurant and catering company. So, she decided to play to their strengths.
