A Moulton man is facing charges, including rape, following an incident back in September 2024 at his residence on County Road 508.

According to newly filed court documents, 41-year-old Lee Everett Warren is accused of forcing the victim to lay in bed with him for hours, starting about 7 p.m., as well as both physically and sexually assaulting her. The documents state the victim was forced to stay in the residence while suffering from a broken nose until Warren fell asleep about midnight.

Documents reveal the DNA from a sexual assault exam conducted the night of the alleged crime matched Warren's DNA, which authorities were able to obtain with a warrant. The case investigator received these results in a report in October 2025.
