As we head into the afternoon, highs will be noticeably warmer than yesterday, reaching the low 50s with plenty of sunshine. Overnight tonight slightly warmer with lows in the upper 30s.
A gradual warming trend is expected through the rest of the workweek, with highs climbing to above average by Friday, in the low 70s.
We’ll stay dry through the rest of the week and the first half of the weekend, but a more unsettled pattern will return by Sunday afternoon and into next week. The Climate Prediction Center has outlined most of Alabama under a slight risk for heavy rain.
