Restaurants will be honoring the U.S. military with offers including free steak, pizza and coffee on Veterans Day today.
Most deals are for veterans and active-duty members of the U.S. military, although some may extend to first responders. And many offers are for dine-in only. Proof of service is usually required.
Here are several deals announced by restaurant chains on their websites, in social media or in news releases:
Black Angus Steakhouse: Veterans and active military personnel can get a complimentary 6-ounce sirloin steak entrée. Military families as well as health care workers and teachers can get a 15% discount off their table‘s check via the chain’s year-round Hero discount.
California Pizza Kitchen: Veterans and active-duty service members can get a free entrée and beverage
