The Eugene Police Department was not present and did not assist or participate in any immigration enforcement activities on Nov. 5, according to Eugene Police Auditor Craig Renetzky .
"We did not find any evidence that Oregon law or local ordinances, policies or procedures were violated," Renetzky wrote in an update on the investigation.
Last week, at least a dozen people were detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials in Lane County.
