March 16, 1924 — November 6, 2025 (age 101)

Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Eunice Pitcher Byington Mendelkow, returned to her Heavenly Father after 101 beautiful years filled with love, faith, and family.

Eunice was born on March 16, 1924, in Smithfield, Utah, to Henry Glenn Pitcher and May Isabelle Smith. She joined her siblings Keith, Harry, Winston, Barbara, and RaNae to complete their loving family. She grew up in Smithfield, attending school not far from home, where the values of hard work and devotion to family were instilled early and guided her throughout her life.

Throughout her years, Eunice faithfully served in many callings for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, as a Relief Society work director and counselor, Primary and Sunday School tea
