El Paso police are investigating a stabbing near Fox Plaza in the South-Central area.
One person was transported to a hospital after police officers responded to a stabbing about 9:40 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11, in the 5600 block of Alameda Avenue across the street from Fox Plaza, Detective Judy Oviedo, an El Paso Police Department spokeswoman, said in a message.
Police cars and red crime-scene tape could be seen outside a DK gas station at the corner of Alameda Avenue and Buena Vista Street, according to a photo from Channel 7-KVIA .
The stabbing is under investigation by the Crime Against Persons Unit, Oviedo said. The condition of the wounded person and the circumstances involving the stabbing were not immediately available as the investigation continued.
